"The recurrence of the seasons is the only form of eternity that exists in nature," wrote the American philosopher George Santayana. The change of seasons, like a chronometer, counts down the fleeting time and invites you to enjoy every moment of life. The variety of colors and plots that nature gives us is endless - from blue icy winter branches, pale pink and purple spring flowers to lush summer greenery with bright yellow spots. Those, who manage to put together the pieces of this magical mosaic in their own picture, aquire confidence, wisdom and harmony...
 New solo exhibition SEASONS offers the viewer three series of works made in different styles. In the series WINTER ETUDES, realistic plots are filled with romantic contrast between dark tones of bare winter branches and whiteness of snow and ice. Bright red berries of barberry and the forgotten yellow ball look like uninvited guests in the world of winter colors. Intertwined bare branches under a thin layer of ice turn into a mystical picture.
The SPRING ETUDES offer unusual abstractions with elements of realism. Intricate figures and symbols merge into a fantastic composition, through which real branches and flowers begin to grow. As if spring itself reproduces the living flesh of nature from invisible magical components.
Artworks from the series JUST SUMMER (which were shown in a solo exhibition two years ago) invite the viewer into the world of expression, filled with the sun and the inspiration of a real summer mood. The dynamism of flower arrangements, the fabulous profile of tree shadows, the philosophy of summer rain streams - all these are parts of the author's story about a wonderful time of year, full of freshness and hopes for a little miracle. Simple plots from everyday life are transformed into a bright mosaic of images, complemented by stylized decorative elements, like a homage to the Art Deco style.
Different styles of the series of my artworks represent different perceptions of the world around me. Its infinite variety is refracted in the soul, giving birth to a number of various molds, which are shaped by the changing emotions and moods. Endless search for the unusual in the ordinary ...
